In all honesty hoxie is more than big enough to host but the parking isn't up to par but riverside has plenty of parking

Head Lion, I know everyone wants regionals near to avoid travel, but I can tell you Clinton has a magnificent facility.  Definitely the best I have seen in 3A.  That said I am sure we are headed east.

I still believe the region matchups could be tweaked to improve travel. Maybe it's just me, but, 1E+1W, 2+3, 4+5 makes so much more sense.

I agree, but it will not happen.  The AAA is void of common sense..

I know that parents/some fans don't like making the long trips or having to take time off from work, but what about the players.  I believe most players hope that their regional and state tournaments are far away.  They enjoy the time away from school and getting to stay in a hotel with their friends/team mates.
