If Jim Tressell was still the coach at Ohio State, Barrett would probably be suspended from team activities during the bye week this week and play next Saturday.

With Urban Meyer at the helm, Barrett could (hopefully will, and rightfully so) be suspended for the game next weekend at the very least.

Edit: College Gameday just announced that J.T. Barrett has been suspended for "at least" the Minnesota game next week.

If it was you or me we would be fired from our jobs because wed be in jail for numerous days and be in a lot of trouble. These guys get to "sit out" for a game against Roast Beef State and then carry on. Two weeks from now they will praise him just like they kept on with Winston.

mtindian we have had simlair ideas about the SEC but here i cant have your back. It is not a mistake when you get impared and get behind the wheel and decide to drive. Its just not. We are too soft on these kids letting them get buy with a lot of stuff and you wonder why they dont ever grow up or learn. If people would start putting their foot down and holding these people accountable for what they are doing it wouldnt be such a problem. We need to take a step back and be like that was wrong you are no longer apart of the team. People ripped Manzel people ripped Winston but if its your school or your team hey one game is enough. No its not until these kids learn they cant be stupid like this.

Legend. He heard all week pepole talk about his arm strength! How he was a weak passer and don't have the strongest arm! Bash him over and over! I don't drink! Nor do I approve of it! I just thank that criticism was to much for jt to Handel! He broke down and made a mental error! We have all been gulty once or twice of being imperfect! He is imperfect as well!

JT is allready trying to over come last year! The broke leg! And get that out of his mind! He still at times in the Rutgers game got scared when guys got around that leg! That is hard to shake! It's in between the ears and there ain't nothing he can do about it!!! Now add this week to that mental hurdle he is allready battling! To much for that young man to handle!

Urban Meyer says he would have kicked Jamies Winston off the team for getting the hook up on crab legs, but a player driving drunk is only a 1 game suspension...Go figure right?

That ending to the Miami game was crazy but I have to ask. I thought that you couldnt come onto the field of play without your helmet on. I understand the circumstances but the player was barely in the endzone and you see a helmet off and player in the endzone. Should there have been a penalty?

Houston spanked Vandy. Temple hung in there with ND. Memphis has a hard road in front of them. Wouldn't shock me if we lost both on the road to Houston and Temple. Yes, I would be ecstatic if we won out. I will be pleased with this team either way.

He resigned earlier in the week. Team is 0-9 this season and going nowhere, so he stepped down as AD and head coach.
