Coach that went to  Palestine has a son that plays football and wanted to be a part of watching his son play football. Don't blame him at all for not missing his son play while he coached somewhere else.

I had a copy of that game at one point. Been about 10 years since I have watched it. Think Mena's game winning TD was a HB pass. Could be easily mistaken though. Mena had twin brothers at QB (Tim) & RB (Kris) in the Clarks. Kris was an all state RB while Tim was all conf at QB in the option I formation offense. Theyw would lose to Dermott in the 1st round in a literal pond of a field.
 You are right though very low win numbers since then for waldron outside of the 2003 when they won the conf and lost to what would become a dominant program in PA in the 2nd round.

I heard he was looking to find a 6A team so he can continue getting W's against Shiloh.
