It is a little strange to me though. So many times they were expected to win; only to fall short. Sheridan has always been a great hitting team that seemed to fade late in the season. Then to have a year where they got better through the year. I would have said that Benton was the best by far, but that senior class for all the talent never came together. I think Greenwood thought that their pitcher would hold them down but obviously she could not. I think Sheridan was just hungrier. That's why they play the game. Congratulations to a job well done.
