Sorry I did not mean to leave Maddie off, she is the hardest worker on the team and can drill it from outside , I got it corrected,  why is it every time I make a list I always leave off someone obvious or miss spell someone's name, I'm guess I'm getting old, Lol

Correct, he will do great things for their program. Brookland will be just fine without him...but anyone who thinks that it won't make an impact on HOW bright their future will be is crazy!

8th and 6th
IMHO Seneth 8th and 6th grade girls just got a lot better for next year!!
Lotti was moved up to JR high last year as a 7th grader for Brookland , who won Jr Conference Last year
Beaner Hoffman was one of the best 5th grade guards in this area!!

Brookland lost A LOT of talent in those players, both have played AAU almost every weekend in the summer for years!!

Hoffman has been hired as the girls coach at Riverside. According to a parent I know well, there is a rumor Whitney Wagner will be moving to Riverside. She will be a good addition to an already loaded program.

;D the trumann girls could surprise some teams in this conference this year!!!!!!!!! they have a good young coach!!!!!!!! beware of the wildcats!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes , loss was to Nettleton by 3
Team Camps are kinda hard to judge your team, starters only usually play a half but it gives a little insight on who can do what

Bay is young but has a lot of talent coming up

RedWolf275

Bay,Riverside and Brookland girls will all be capable of making runs in their classifications state tournaments.

Bay has had a pretty good three weeks of camps. This week at Nettleton they were a little short handed with a couple of 8th graders, Freshmen and one sophomore playing in the sr high camp. Had a sophomore and a junior at individual camp this week and Katie is out for the summer. Have been playing mostly larger schools which should help them. Heard Brookland looked really good yesterday. Like you said it is hard to really judge since players are out and coaches are working on lots of things during this time. Good to see all the teams get better. I think overall girls basketball is pretty good in NEA in several classifications. Should be a fun year. Let us know how things go at Flippin.

I Agree, there is a lot of talent in this area,
Brookland's Jr Emily Redmond should hit the floor before season starts recovering from ACL , she played for Hoffman Last summer, can really shoot it.
Sr's B Lovrien ,Morgan ,Gramling will lead The Lady Bearcats come season IMO , Along with
A Loflin, H Lovrien ,Hammett, Reddick, Redmond , M Loflin, Gossett

She just had ACL surgery , she really likes playing for Hoffman on Hoopsters, real good talent, tough on Defense and can take it to the hole, but I haven't  heard anything for sure yet

Just reporting updates that I got, I didn't go so I can't really evaluate Brooklands level of play, Redmond is very athletic and can shoot it extremely well , I hope she is good to go by Harding camp, Heard Ally Loflin looked good coming back from ACL,
Run the point for 2nd team most of camp and some on the first group. H Lovrien saw the floor and made some nice passes ,really  tough on defense.

Bailey or Rachel will lead this team in scoring , they can get to the rim, or knock down the trey

Girls have a lot of work to do to get ready for Harding Camp!!

Drove down and watched the last 2 games, as a Brookland fan I'm looking forward to watching our girls play this year. In the games I watched today, Lovrien and Gramling can just take over a game , vs Nettleton Gramling knocked down 2 treys in a row to give Brookland the lead under 2 min left, then Lovrien knocked down the winning Free throw in OT. Haley Morgan worked hard in the paint and got some big boards and stick backs  . Gossett and Reddick do a good job on the wings ,with Sophs  A Loflin and H Lovrien subbing for them. JR SG  Emilee Redmond still hasn't hit the floor yet for the Lady Bearcats, but her mom said she will be ready by start of school. According to Whitney Wagganer  dad she is staying at Brookland , she is going to miss this year with ACL recovery.
Coach said it was a good camp , got some good experience with some W's and no injuries.
Brookland finished 12-1
