I figured out a long time ago that I'm not real smart. There are 75 counties in Arkansas I think, as I look at the bracket, 3 of those are from Mississippi County. I reckon they play a little hoops there, football state champ from Rivercrest and who knows in baseball???

No question there are some great athletes at Rivercrest and Osceola. Hoxie has a really good football team a few years back. Kinda top heavy like the SEC. Manila people are the Hog football fans the last few years chanting SEC SEC.

I would expect nothing less you from Oldman, without the athletes, we have won 2 Regional titles in 5 years, with 4 trips to state tournament. For a school with no athletes, most schools would consider that pretty successful.

I can't remember the name of the Mexican restaurant there but it's really good too.
There's La Terraza across from Days Inn and Ameca in the strip attached to Walmart.

Junction City is better than people realize. They lost to McGehee in overtime in their district tournament. Some say refs gave the game to McGehee. Some say they didn't. From where I sit Tuckerman should have been the number one seed instead of Harding Academy. Looks as though Tuckerman might have been looking ahead. Either way, from what I have seen, anyone is capable of winning this week. It simply depends on who is ready to "gut" it out

Harding beat Tuckerman in the regional semifinals, which knocked Tuckerman down to the 3-seed. That's the way it works.
Plus, Tuckerman was unlikely to be looking ahead. they knew that HA would be their toughest competition in the regional. Harding played them within 5 at Tuckerman and took them to overtime in Searcy. Plus, it's very hard to beat a good team three times. It's far more likely that HA was looking ahead to a 2nd round meeting with Jessieville and did not take JC as seriously as they should have.

So, is Manila not making the trip to play today? You already have Jessieville moving on. I can assure you that coaches in the state tournament are not looking down the road. They are always worried about the game at hamd.
Jessieville will not beat Manila.
On the girls side I give Lamar the best shot at pulling an upset although any of today's girls games could go either way.
On the boys side, Manila should "upset" Jessieville.
I sure hope y'all are right about Manila beating Jessieville.....you know for obvious reasons lol

I can't believe I am saying this cause I have been tooting the horn of the train that is the Drew Central Express..... But I am going to have to take Mcgehee over Drew Central by about 7 or 8 points. I have noticed the last couple games these two have played earlier in the year you guys have slowed their offense down. I imagine your coach has a pretty good plan he is executing to do so. I think Mcgehee does just that in the title game. We will see though cause Drew Central seems to be riding some magic right now though the way they just strung off 3 straight in an extremely difficult portion of the bracket at that too.
Glad we're not playing them at Drew Central again.
