Tough loss for the dragons tonight losing there playmaker in the 3rd qt. Good game crossett. There are definitely some playmakers on your team but I don't think they will overcome the lack of coaching once they move up to sr high

Seventh grade won 20-6. Jordan threw two TD passes and had a pick six on defense by Hugo Jaimes. It had to be from about 30 or 35 yards out.
Bigger group this year than some previous years, around 50 kids. Got some size, good running back, and all of the receivers are a threat to catch the ball and score. However, England only had 12 players playing so I know they had to be gassed. I'll be interested to see how they stack up against conference teams.

Sorry I just saw this, but they weren't bad. Probably should have won the game, but their best player, #5, had some cramps and didn't play a few drives in the second half. We had a lot of problems tackling him. We won after we forced a punt and the snap rolled to the punter and in between his legs into the end zone. We recovered and got the two-point conversion to win 14-12.
That said, Hamburg had some size on the lines, but they didn't look nearly as athletically gifted as they usually do. Part of that could have been the offense. They barely threw the ball and seemed to run mostly toss plays and FB dive up the middle. That worked ok while #5 was out there, but not so much for the backup.
Hearing 7th grade jacks beat HWH 30-0. Can anyone confer?

Yes, 30-0. I think Helena-West Helena fumbled their first three snaps of the game, at least the first two. It wasn't much of a contest.
And Warren did win the Junior High game 8-6. That was a tough one, but found a way to win.
