Wouldn't be close. A good team can find a way to limit Sanders.

The Great One

That's a big win! Cj and jamarta really stepped up with Hopkins having an off scoring night... Had some really good passes tho...That's 3 of the last 4 years Nashville has made it to state and I may be wrong but I'm not sure they had ever made it before that!

Early 60's, 63 I think. There's a trophy in the case for it.

2005 and 2006. Warren lost to Pulaski Academy in the first round in 2005 and then to Heber Springs in OT in 2006. Don't know the last time we won a game in state. Been trying to find out.

I think it was 2001 Warren beat Dumas in the first round

It's great having Warren still in Regionals. Happy for Coach Nix but a lot of this years success came from the previous coach. Coach May had gotten involved with the pee wee level and it's starting to show. Really happy for these young men and I hope this excitement for the bball program continues to grow, new gym or not.

Really hope I can make it to Nashville next week to watch the Lumberjacks in State. Warren really lucked out on getting Nix when they did. Maybe he will stay and build up a program at Warren the way he did at Emerson. Has he moved to Warren yet or is he still driving from Sparkman?

Monticello seems to be in shock. Nashville playing very good defense.

Mena lose another player?

Yes they were missing 2 starters due to sickness and injury one player still in the hospital with sickness could use some prayers.   But both those kids were a huge part of their defense with steals and blocked shots,  and knowing Warren was good down low I knew loosing those 2 starters would be huge.  It was still a very successful season for Mena and a great bounce back from some really bad years under the old coaching staff.   Also this team had a lot of really good underclassmen and the future is bright.

Monticello was pulling away, then their best player fouled out and proceeded to throw water bottles across the court, which got Nashville back into it.
