Nurkic 14 boards. Seems that he is at least serviceable and may even be decent down there in the Valley. Ring ceremony along with a pretty controlling win over LA, they led by 18 in the 1Q (!)

Bucks play the 76ers in Fiserv tonight. I wanna see Dame and Giannis combine for 75 points

PurpleNWhite FTW

Bucks dang near fumbled that one, but Dame Time saved it. Bucks 119 - 118 76ers. Lakers also eked one out over the dinged up Suns without D Book, winning 100-95.

In season tournament ? Are these extra games or a part of the 82 game season?

They are part of the 82 games, but the two teams who make the In-Season Tournament Final will play an 83rd game that doesn't count for the standings.

Bucks dismantle the Knicks 146-122. As a team, they shot 60.7% from three.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's Bucks franchise-record 64 points lead Milwaukee past Indiana, 140-126. Oscar Tshiebwe scored his first NBA point on a free throw..then there was a scuffle over the game ball because Giannis set a franchise record for points but rookie Oscar Tshiebwe scored his first point..

64 points deserves it a lot more than a FT. Should've just set up a boxing mat and let em duke it out after lol

Giannis didn't even want it for himself, he was getting it for Dame, who passed Kyle Korver on the all time 3PM list

also Giannis vs Tshiebwe would be a dope fight, we all saw how Oscar played in that UK @ ARK game  ;D

As a Bucks fan who has watched 32 of the 40 games so far, I can't trust the perimeter defense. Need a point of attack defender.

Quote from: Walter on January 15, 2024, 04:44:45 pmI wish they still had Holiday.

Half court offense wasn't good with Holiday and he didn't command the kind of gravity that Lillard does late in games. When the game comes down to a few possessions and the Bucks are coming down past the logo, there's no one I'm more scared of than Damian Lillard. If the Bucks had a guy kind of like Derrick White, who can guard the opponent's best frontcourt player, alongside Damian Lillard, that team is likely the overwhelming favorites in the NBA.

PurpleNWhite FTW

Bucks fire Adrian Griffin; he went 30-13 in his 43 games with the Bucks. Defense struggled. Bucks looking into Doc Rivers as his successor.

Please, change your mind, Jon Horst. We do not need that man here. I'd rather you have a reunion with Mike Budenholzer. No Rivers.

- Bucks acquire Patrick Beverley from PHI for Cameron Payne and one of the few picks they have for the rest of Giannis' life LOL

Big games in the next week:

Tonight
DEN (47-21) @ MIN (47-21) - First round playoff rematch from last season, but this time, it's an imperative game in the jostle for Western Conference playoff positioning.

Tomorrow
MIL (44-24) @ BOS (52-14) - Boston has all but clinched the East's 1 seed, but the Bucks would prove a lot with a signature win in TD Garden.

MIA (37-31) @ CLE (43-25) - Miami, sitting at No.8 in the East, is fighting to stay in the race for the 6th seed and the rest during the Play-In Tournament.

Thurs.
NYK (41-27) @ DEN (47-21) - Interconference matchup between two playoff contending teams.

Fri.
CLE (43-25) @ MIN (47-21) - Two of the league's elite defenses collide in Minnesota, as the Wolves and Cavs both look to hold serve in their respective conferences' top 4.

NO (41-26) @ MIA (37-31) - Two teams, currently facing road playoff series, look to hold their position in the playoffs.

Sat.
Pretty much nothing

Sun.
OKC (47-20) @ MIL (44-24) - Two of the NBA's best teams and two of the top MVP candidates battle in Wisconsin. This one's just for signature and for the viewers.

Mon.
Nothing

Tues.
OKC (47-20) @ NO (41-26) - Two Western Conference playoff teams go at it in New Orleans. Depending on the way these teams play in the next week, they may be looking at a pivotal game here.

DAL (39-29) @ SAC (39-28) - Two West play-in teams with high-scoring offenses jostle for position for the postseason.
