d.a. won the 2A state track and field title for 2nd time in 5yrs.

congrats to A. Lowe on her dominating performance, she won the long jump & triple jump(state record 36' 1/2"), 2nd in 200, 3rd in 100.

also a HUGE shout out to volunteer coach J.D. Babb, he has led the lady eagles too 2 state t&f titles, and i believe 1 or 2 c.c. titles, and a couple runner-ups in the last few years.

Good job Des Arc. I thought that we had you when our girls won the 4x400 at the end. We just came up 1/2 a point short.

I must add that the DA girls and Coach Babb were all class and so gracious. They made a point to come over to console our girls and congratulate them on their heart and performances.

yes it was very close, i think d.a. may be a more complete team next year. i believe we are very young except for a. lowe shes a sr. as long as coach babb is here our girls are gona be a threat. which is the same with magizine and the rattler guy.
