$3.05 is the best I've seen in a couple of spots in Bentonville, and the highest price I saw is $3.15 at a BP just off I-540 in Rogers.

...Hm...Tis strange to me. the highest place in RussVegas is Wal Mart at 3.11

The Lowest is Flying J at 3.01
Valero and PDQ by Tech are 3.04
The 3 around the interstate by Tech are 3.06
Super S is 3.08

Dover-PDQ and McB's are 3.10
Sain's is 3.09
Scenic 7 gas is 3.10 or 3.14 can't remember for sure
Hector was still at 3.15 last I heard(He doesn't have the prices on the sign anymore.)
Amazing how much variety there are in prices in such a small area

Heck gas has went up over 80 cents in 7 monthes. When I got my truck I could fill it up (From half a tank) for around 20 bucks...Now it's closer to 40.

HorseFeathers

Highest gas prices in California...
3.95 in Cambria
Highest in Alaska
4.98 in Bethel Alaska
Same Station Sells Diesel for 5.12

Arkansas Charges 21 cents on the gallon in Fuel Taxes and it's estimated that 62 cents of the price at the pump is Road Taxes.

Blue Collar

Saw where oil is $104 a barrell....whatever happen to this:

instead:

Wahls

It's 3.03 in De Queen. er, at least it was last night. Since it snowed 3 inches, it's probably around 4 dollars a gallon.

I think you're right on. But remember this. We have a very low tax burden on fuel in the U.S. compared to the other industrialized nations in the world. It's their government's way to try and force conservation. And it, for the most part, is working.

High Gas and Desiel prices are hurting the entire economy.
How
Farmer pays more to plow and harvest= Higher cost
Transport cost = higher cost
Processing ....
Transport to Stores ...
Since it takes gas or desiel to do all this things at every level you get to pay the price at the Store and at the Pump.

I have to ask though...Why has Diesel sky rocketed? It used to be 20-30 cents cheaper...not its close to 50 cents higher.

edghog

My guess would be that the road diesel today is not the same road diesel from the past. More chemicals required in the refining process to produce today's cleaner burning, more efficient fuel.
Plus, from a barrel of oil, more gasoline is produced than diesel.
Just a guess.

$4 gas and $4 per lb coffee by early summer.

Don't forget this.  Both are going to happen.

I would be inclined to agree. Im glad my company buys my gas & I'm glad I drink green tea instead of coffee.

Quite Frankly

I hate coffee.  Thank God.

Of course water in a bottle can get expensive too.

edghog

How about visine? If I remember correctly, and my math is right, it's about $1000/gal. Ouch.

Wait til you get my age. You'll need a lot of things that you never did need when you were younger.

You are paying about 8.00 a gallon now.  And you are griping about paying $4.00 for gas?

Sad part is...most of the bottled water is about the same quality you get from the tap.

yep.  How do you think it gets in that bottle?  from a tap maybe???

HorseFeathers

I know...That's what I was meaning. The cafe I work in you can buy 20 ounces of water in a bottle for a 1.44 including tax. Or 35 cents for a 20 ounce cup of water(That covers the cost of the cup).

ReconSniper

if you read the labels on bottled water, most, if not all of it comes from municipal water supplies in big cities.

Miner Nation

The cheapest gas in Bryant is $3.07 today.

Lions84

Still $3:06 and spring break looking more like a work around the house week every day.

Cabotfan

$3.02 to $3.07 back down to $2.95

Who knows what the price will be tomorrow in Cabot.

True Believer

Phil....  :(   gas is $3.10 at the Corner Mart.
