Looking like this conference is way down in girls basketball.

pioneers

That and bays girls are really good.

OB11

Rivercrest was beaten pretty soundly by Nettleton last night.  I know there are 3 or 4 guys still playing football that the Colts are missing.

Also Piggott got beat by Armorel last week by 8 I think.

It is about as down as I seen it and the bad thing is the conference we matchup with regionals is the best in the state.

They are now 3-0.

I believe the Piggott boys beat Maynard tonight but I haven't seen the final score yet. A win would make them 1-2.

I don't think either of those teams are in the 3A-3 but does anyone know what happened in this game? I thought cossatot would keep it a closer game unless they called it tight and cossatot fouled too many people out like they have done some this year.

It was close at half and Jessieville poured it on in the 3rd quarter.

No disrespect to other conference members, but the next few years there will be some battles between the Noles and Lions. Youth abounds for both. Osceola played most of the game with 4 sophomores and a freshman on the floor. Not much height until the big boy is eligible after Christmas, but very Athletic. Still making alot of mistakes.  Hopefully a tough non conference will make these boys learn quick.

Big week for the Noles.  Open up conference play at home against Corning, and then travel to Blytheville - Thursday, and back into conference play at Rivercrest on Friday.

I'm guessing that's why Piggott beat them last night like they did?  Piggott has been playing for a while and Rivercrest will probably take a few weeks to get into the swing of basketball after that run in football.
