Seeing how we have won district 2 years in a row. Went to state quarterfinals in 2013.
And placed 3rd in State weight meet 2 years in a row. Both we should have won, but had one lifter scratch each year.
So "NO" we are not just a football team, but through your eyes, seeing as how we have beaten you so bad through the years, I can understand why you may think that way.

Fair warning purplehajj, just so you will know, if it does happen where you do have to pay off the bet, Green-Eagle, when it comes to steak, is the sole reason that them cows started doing them "Eat More Chicken" commercials!

As for the game, I hope it is a knock down, slobber Knocker to the bitter end type of game for Hazen. They really need one of those type of games. IMO, outside of the McCroy game which was 14-0 at half, Hazen has not even been really tested this year. They really need one of those type of games!

I am picking a Des Arc upset. I don't think Hazen can handle a "BIG GAME" they love beating weak teams but when somebody hits them in the mouth they will fold. They have only beat one good team this year and that was Earl.
Hazen only has one fast back and we will contain him. They make too many mistakes and are undisciplined. Our players have been in big games and are very physical.

Nobody said they wanted him to get hurt...he just stated that if you lose that player, you will be in a world of hurt...i'm not entirely sure I agree with that but it's what was stated.  I NEVER condone injuring for sport and have stated that many times...these are kids first and any injuries now can last them the rest of their lives. Why don't y'all start realizing that this is a game and not life or death and then there would be no need for all this childish banter.

Maybe you were the 200# girl that played for Clarendon Pee Wee about 9 years ago!! If so then yes you may know a little about football. If not, read and learn about a topic before you give your 2 cents worth.. It actually may be worth a look!!

And by the way, weights have been around Clarendon a long time!! Can't help that the kids will not put in the time to get better. They did a few years back when Cedric Houston and Tank Daniels played.

Oh about are season being over after this year?? Our best running back this year and over half the line will be back for another stomping in the 6 2A. I guess that totals for about 4 starters and another 8 that have been getting a lot of playing time. So Hazen will be fine next year.

hazen will be fine today as well in the future if they can maintain their numbers. Hazen real problem is very little football respect! Hazen need to make the most of all their playoff opportunities, win their playoff games regardless of their seeding.

There have been countless times, that Hazen had a very optimist playoff schedule and their didn't live up to the billing due to the fact that they should had a higher seed.....

here an example, take a team out of the 2a-8, let's call that team "Strong". Strong has over the past 6 or seven years been making the playoff as a fourth seed....(except for the year that they won state....I beleive that they were 2nd seed)   they were steady playing in the semi-finals.......     Hazen needs to win those playoff games and gain that respect........ i believe that they can do it this year, but they must win those games and be playing around thanksgiving.....

But I do remember the Strong game,, and I will tell you this, I don't know if anyone in the 6 2A could have beat them that night!!  Just because a team is a lower seed, does not always mean they are the weaker team..
