Yeah I've thought the whole time it was pretty dumb to put the 2 deepest conferences against each other in the first round. You have arguably 8 of the top 10-12 teams in 5A meeting in the first round.

Two years ago, it was West vs. East, South vs. Central
Last year, it was West vs. South, East vs. Central

And seven has posted this years first round matchups.

The worst thing is having to wait until after Fridays game to see when my team plays their first round game. Tuesday or Thursday, then scrambling to find a replacement at work on short notice.
