Just to clear up here is how the conference finished.

On boys Bergman finished 6, and cotter finished 7th. Bergman won tie breaker, it doesn't really matter because the 6 and 7 play each other but they will fix it on the bracket.

I know it is a week away, but the weather forecast is not looking good for next week.  If they are right we might not even start till the weekend.  That means we might play finals one night and start regionals the next day.

Well the weather is here.  We have a few inches on the ground in Flippin and it is still coming down.  It will be interesting to see what this does to the district tournament, plus looks like for weather coming in this weekend.

Who's gonna broadcast the games?

So they are just playing the 8/9 games tonight? Right now my plan was to start broadcasting on Wednesday night (off the original schedule) till Saturday (2 games a night). Looking at putting Flippin, Cotter, Yellville, Valley Springs, Bergman, Marshall......just going with the flow of the bracket. I'll announce it on here as well as the stations Facebook page and Website will keep it updated as well what is broadcast.

Most of the schools in this area are cancelled for tomorrow, so not sure if they will get to play games Tomorrow night, stay tuned.  Also the area is under a winter weather advisory for tonight and could get 1 to 3 inches of snow....

Here is an idea play first round girls games in highest seeds gym, which would be Mt. View and the first round boys games in the highest seeds gym which would be Marshall. Then try to get back on track Friday or Saturday?

At the 3A-1 East District Tournament at Melbourne, the Green Forest and Cotter girls will play at 3:30 p.m. while the Green Forest and Mountain View boys game will tip off around 5 p.m.
