I know this. If the team that played Walnut Ridge and Murfreesboro shows up, "The End". If the team that played Marked Tree and Earle shows up, "To Be Continued"
Guess we can all say that for almost any team

I just can't understand how a team that is supposed to be as good as Cross county could lose to a team as bad as Walnut Ridge.
dang you going to make the children angry with that!
walnut Ridge won 6 games. A lot worse teams than WR. Teams have letdowns. DA almost list to Carlisle. Carlisle is bad.

Key word, "almost".

Penn will lead the Scrapper Hornets to a win over the Thunder Chickens.
Guess we will see after the game if there are Scrapper Hornets or Hornet Scraps left.

I'm not sure the Ridge could beat Marvell or clarendon

Unfortunately yes. They do have a very good band though.
WR does have a good band. i also told you Wr is helter skelter on the field as well.

CC has all the tools to win state. Four tail backs 44, 15, 8 and 35, three fullbacks 17, 14, and 11 a huge oline and an athletic qb. They also have the best defensive line and line backers in the state. So it all comes down to the coaching staff. If they have their aces in their places CC will win state.
Best linebackers in the state? Wow...that's amazing.

That's a matter of opinion,  I think Des Arc has the best linebackers,  I'm sure most other top teams think their team has the top ones. I think it would be hard to beat the Conway brothers from d.a.

I guess so if you posted the fact sheet listed above. Here is another opinion I think Midland has the best QB in the state. At 6 Foot 3 240 pounds with an arm that hits the target anywhere on the field and runs like Tim T. You want find him on any fact sheet because this is only Midlands second year playing football and his receivers can't catch the ball so his stats don't show how good he really is. IMO. He has no offers because he is not on an opinion sheet.

Yes that is amazingly correct.

That's a matter of opinion,  I think Des Arc has the best linebackers,  I'm sure most other top teams think their team has the top ones. I think it would be hard to beat the Conway brothers from d.a.
It is all a matter of opinion.
We sure have an opinion down here.

I thought you had an opinion? But yet you have posted someone else opinion.

Sorry to bust your bubble but if you go back and READ I didn't post it. We think we have the best backers in 2A down here on the border.
Sorry Dude my fault.

By the way Trint I went over to the basketball board and it went pretty well. 44 point win for the Warriors. 1, 4, 35, 23, 11, 55, 2, 5, 22, 12 and 15 all played. We had one out with injury but he will be in the fold here pretty soon. Good luck to you guys Friday but just in case you guys don't make it we will be seeing you guys on the hardwood soon enough lol

Not sure about pro, but I do feel confident saying more than one will be playing on Saturdays while receiving a free education.  What more can you want from a kid. Actually one of our linebackers will get an academic scholarship to about any school he wants to attend next year.

Greene from Brinkley is by far the best linebacker in the 2AA. I heard from a reliable source last Friday that next year he will play major D-1 ball but I can't divulge what school.

9 games, and that "close to 300" was my guesstimate. I know it's over 200

Just looked it up, according to an ADG article it was 222 combined prior to last week's game against JC Westside. I thought it was higher than that, but 222 is pretty good for only 8 games.

Not sure about high school but in college the median for 1st downs allowed per game is 19.5, 26 being highest and 13 being lowest. I'd think high school ball would be a bit higher but probably not much.

I didnt keep count but I think they added up the total that was called not accepted. They had like for unsportsmanlike called on one play, thats 60 yards. I can only remember one TD called back for a false start. 7 turnovers doomed Earle in that one, along with not being able to stop the run up the middle.

If you can get to the edges on CC you can have some success, thats where Earle moved the ball on them.
