This season should be different for the Cardinals. Farmington returns enough starters that they should be a challenger for the 1-4A title. What has to have coach Mike Adams sleeping better at night is an impressive sophomore class that includes tight end Dakota Mosely, wide receiver Katrayas Lane and kicker Jeremy Mahoney. The Cardinals have been to the playoffs three straight seasons and six out of the last seven seasons, and this season should be no different. Comments by coach: "We will be very inexperienced on both the offensive and defensive fronts, and we don't have a lot of size. We will rely on an experienced backfield next season as we try to replace four starters on the offensive line. Cooper, Stiles and Miller will all be solid threats. I feel like that although we will have all new starters at the receiver positions we will have very good depth at those spots. Miner and Fitts are experienced corners. Our conference race will be centered around Prairie Grove and Gravette. Both of those teams have a lot of kids coming back and should probably be favored. We will have a chance if our line play develops, we will have to depend on several sophomores to help us."
