Other key players: Matthew Joy (5-9, 225, Sr.); Robert Moye (6-0, 270, Soph.). 2007 Outlook: A touch nonconference schedule (losses to Pulaski Academy and Central Arkansas Christian) got the Cardinals ready for the rugged 8-4A. After losing the conference opener to Warren, Dollarway strung together six straight wins before being upset by Newport in playoffs. Conference foes should expect the same this season from the Cardinals. Dollarway returns nine starters on both sides of the ball including all skill position players, linebackers and college prospect tight end/defensive end Ferbia Allen. Conference and 4A foes beware, Dollarway is poised to make a run deep run into the playoffs in 2007. Comments by coach: "We must convert on third down and defend on third down. Those two will determine our success. Must not make last years turnovers to have a chance. Must tackle well early to have a chance. Not much has changed (in the conference). Warren will lead the race. We look to knock them off in '07. Remainder of the conference is dangerous. Every team in the conference is improved over last season."
