Kilcrease, LB Ryan Richardson, FS Chad Austin, SS Nick Boston, CB Tyler Huntsman. Outlook: Playing under Eddie Jackson and playing on two conference championship teams and a state champion at Prescott, Crossett head coach Teodis Ingram was prepared to be a winner. That's what he is hoping for this year for his Eagles. Eight starters return on each side for the Eagles, which will switch from the Spread to the Wing-T. Crossett must replace its quarterback from last year, talented Gvonna Turner, but returns fullback Drew Williams, wingback Terrell Bryant, tailback LaCario Paskel and Rodney Brown, who will line up as tight end and receiver at times. That's not all the offense for Crossett, though. Rusty Gulledge, Demarious Sams, John Henry and Darius Field return along the line. Defensively, Crossett is in good shape, too. Allen Brooks and C.C. Kilcrease return up front with Ryan Richardson, Williams and Brown at linebacker. In the secondary, Cad Austin, Nick Boston and Tyler Huntsman are back. Comments from Ingram: "One of the things that we've said and are committed to is the offensive line. Right now, we have a lot of depth in the offensive line. They’ve gotten stronger. This is a junior/senior football team. These guys have really worked hard. These guys have had a lot of good workouts and have had a tremendous off-season. They know they have a purpose. We went to the Spread last year because we had a quarterback that could throw it. This year, we'll be in the Wing-T. Terrell Bryant is a 10.8/10.9 guy. Paskel played hurt last year and was banged up and hurt, but he had some great runs in our last game. Rodney Brown runs well and is a big target. Drew Williams is a Notre Dame and Nebraska type fullback. He's hard-nosed. Those are the guys we have to look to not only for their athletic ability but for their leadership."
